Select issues

Overview

Selection lets you act on a set of Issues. Team Issues, My Issues, Feature tables, and archive tables use row checkboxes. Only actions allowed for the whole selection are available.

Highlight an issue

Hover over a row to see its controls. Hovering does not add that Issue to your selection. Linear-style J/K row navigation is (coming soon).

Select issues

• Click the row checkbox.
• Ctrl-click a row on Windows, or Command-click on macOS, to toggle that row without clearing the others.

Select multiple issues

• Shift-click a row or checkbox to select a visible range.
• Use the header checkbox to select the visible rows.
• Collapsed groups are excluded. Filter the table first if you want a narrower set.

Clear selection

Clear the checkboxes, or press Escape. If Actions is open, the first Escape closes it; the next clears the selection. Changing tables clears selection, and rows hidden by a scope change leave the selection.

Take actions

1. Select the Issues.
2. Open Actions.
3. Choose an available command and review any confirmation.

Read-only rows can remain selected, but they can prevent a bulk change. Integrity does not silently skip them and apply only part of the request.

Reorder issues using keyboard shortcuts (coming soon)

Keyboard commands for manually moving selected Issues up or down are not available.

Update multiple issues

Use Actions to change compatible properties such as status, priority, assignee, labels, Feature, Phase, due date, or estimate.

• Create related creates connected work or a parent above the selection.
• Mark as connects Issues to an existing parent, relation, blocker, or duplicate target.
• Remove relations previews which links will be removed.
• Archived selections offer Unarchive and Delete. Deleted selections offer Restore and Permanently delete.

Every selected Issue must allow the operation. Review relationship and deletion effects before confirming. See Parent and sub-issues and Delete and archive issues.
