Integrity

Create issues

Create an Issue, add its details, or schedule recurring work.

Overview

Every Issue belongs to one Team and receives an Issue key when created. A title and status are required; the Team supplies the initial status.

You need permission to create work in the selected Team. An enabled public Team may offer Submit issue for review to people outside the Team. That form sends a title and description to Triage.

Create an issue

Select New issue in the top right of your Team's Issues page, or use the workspace sidebar's create action. Choose a Team and enter a title of up to 200 characters.

Add a description and any properties you need, such as an assignee, priority, labels, estimate, due date, Cycle, or Feature. Creating from a Feature's Issues tab starts with that Feature selected. Use the expand control if you need more room for the description.

Select Create issue, or press Ctrl + Enter on Windows or ⌘ + Enter on macOS. The success message shows the new Issue key. Enable Create more to keep adding Issues without closing the dialog.

To prepare sub-issues alongside the parent, choose … → Add sub-issue. If a child fails after the parent is created, Retry sub-issues completes the remaining drafts without recreating the parent.

Create an issue via email (coming soon)

Integrity does not yet turn incoming email into Issues. Create an Issue in the app and add the relevant context instead.

Create an email address for a template (coming soon)

Create recurring issues

Use a recurring schedule for work such as a weekly review. You need the Team's permission to manage recurring Issues.

Create a recurring issue

Open Create issue for the Team and fill in the work to repeat. Choose … → Make recurring, set the first due date and repeat schedule, then create it.

Convert an existing issue into a recurring issue (coming soon)

Direct conversion is not available. Create a recurring schedule with the details you want future Issues to use.

Create recurring issues in team settings

Open Team settings → Recurring issues to create and manage schedules. See Create and edit a schedule.

Create recurring issues from templates (coming soon)

Issue templates are not available yet. Enter the recurring Issue's details directly.

Cadence of recurring issues

The first Issue is created with the schedule. Later occurrences become eligible after their scheduled due date passes in the Team's timezone. Edit the schedule to change future work; existing Issues keep their own details.

Create a new issue URL (coming soon)

Shareable links that open a prefilled creation form are not available.

Apply pre-set properties (coming soon)

Set properties in the create dialog instead of adding them to a URL.

Create a URL from a template (coming soon)

Copy a URL from an issue (coming soon)

Prefilled creation links are not available. Copy URL on an existing Issue links to that Issue; it does not create a copy.

Drafts

Your work stays in the open create dialog while you edit. A saved Drafts library that survives closing the dialog or switching devices is (coming soon). Create the Issue before leaving if you need to keep it.

FAQ

Can I use the keyboard to create an Issue?

Yes. Use Tab to move between controls and Ctrl + Enter (Windows) or ⌘ + Enter (macOS) to submit. Shortcuts inside the editor keep their editing behavior.

Image placeholder: Keyboard navigation

Show the Integrity create dialog with visible keyboard focus and a caption identifying Ctrl / ⌘ + Enter. Do not use a browser-settings screenshot.

Can I email a file to create an Issue?

Email intake is (coming soon). Add files through the Issue's attachment controls instead.
